Tarja Takko's career has been a journey of transformations. Over 25 years, she has led from the inside — as CHRO, EVP of People and Culture, and transformation leader across global organizations in different industries and ownership contexts, including private equity. She has driven and led change in some of the most demanding environments — where the pressure is real, and results are non-negotiable.
What she learned, over and over, is this: the organizations that grow and last are the ones that lead with people — in every decision, every change, every chapter.
Takko Advisory was founded to bring that conviction to others. To be the partner Tarja herself had needed — strategic enough to work at board level, human enough to earn real trust, and bold enough to challenge the thinking that keeps organizations stuck between intention and impact.

When Timo Kytömäki joined as Co-Founder and Partner, the firm gained something essential: the operational and technology backbone that turns strategy into measurable outcomes. With 30 years of experience as CEO, COO, and CTO across technology, SaaS, healthcare, and public sector organizations in Europe, Australia, and global markets, Timo brings the discipline and rigor that makes transformation real.
Together, they bring two inseparable capabilities: the human depth to lead change that sticks, and the operational precision to make it endure. And a shared belief that business — led with purpose, built with integrity, and committed to collective impact — can change the world for the better.
